The Concept
The rate of growth that Information Technology has achieved ever since the
advent of Personal Computers is mind-boggling. Applications of the PC has
widened and spread into realms un-thought of.
The office of any Educational Institution is a place where mundane administrative
activities take place daily. One of the areas where automation would be
much appreciated is a School Office.
In this era of office automation, several packages are marketed under the
guise of being “integrated” and “user friendly”. Priced
exorbitantly, these packages often don't deliver what they promise to.
Though they aspire to get automated most educational institutions either
can't afford to purchase these packages or find it quite expensive to hire
skilled/qualified personnel to implement these packages. Having deliberated on
this need for a long time, Slate Systems was conceived with the following
mission:

At Slate Systems we strive to create quality software that is
technically sound and easy to use. Designed ground up to be generic
our software functions across different boards. Relevant user suggestions for
customization would be taken into consideration while upgrading.
